CARMEL – Hanna Lach led all scorers with 21 points and Emily Roper added 13 points and 10 rebounds (Dec 29) as the Greyhounds (8-3) defeated Lawrence Central 73-26. The Greyhounds gave up only one field goal in the 3rd quarter and limited LC to just 12 second half points. Carmel’s Laura Valiente played a solid game as well and contributed 10 points. Other scorers included Tori Tomalia 8, Evan Spidel 7, Erin baker 5, Mackenzie Thomas 5, and Riley Pennington 4. The Greyhounds return to action as they travel to Penn (11-2) on January 2. Tip-off is schedule for 3:30.
