The 9th grade boys basketball team traveled to Franklin Central on Saturday to take part in a four team invitational.
In the first game, against Martinsville, the Hounds got out to a great start and played tough defense on the way to a 49-13 final.

In the championship game the Hounds took on the host, Franklin Central. This time out Carmel cruised to a 62-31 final behind excellent passing and limited turnovers.

Next up for the freshman team is HSE at home on Tuesday, 1/19.
