The Greyhound boys won their 12th consecutive sectional title, this time with 26 points to outdistance host Noblesville by 23 points. Freshman Kole Mathison was the individual champion in a PR of 15:32 to outrun the frontrunning duo from Noblesville, leading six of the seven Carmel runners to their best times of the season. Accompanying Mathison under the 16-minute mark was sophomore Charlie Schuman in fourth at 15:56 and senior Ben Myers in sixth at 15:59.

In their third race of the season, the senior duo of Will Murphy and Ben Johnson closed out scoring in seventh and eighth, running 16:07 and 16:09, respectively. Johnson’s time was nearly a minute faster than the previous week at the Nike Twilight meet. Junior Will Anderson (16:21) and senior Sam Hooton (16:26) finished 12th and 14th to earn All-Sectional honors as well. Both pushed back multiple scorers from each of the other competing teams in the race.
