Boys Varsity Basketball · Hounds win another MIC Basketball Title


 

 

The Carmel Greyhounds won their 7th MIC Boys Basketball Championship with a 56-47 home court win over #7 Warren Central on Friday night. The Hounds were led by Junior Pete Suder’s 26 points which included 3 three pointers. Senior Brian Waddell returned to the court after missing the last five games with an ankle injury and played 31 out of 32 minutes. The MIC title is the 6th in the last 10 years for the program.  Coach Ryan Osborn’s team is now 19-2 on the season and will close the regular season on Tuesday with a trip to #8 Crispus Attucks.

The pairings show for IHSAA tournament will be held on Sunday night at 7:00 pm on the Champions Network. Carmel will host the sectional tournament this year. Attendance will be capped at 1000 spectators for each game and each game will be a separate ticket. More information will be provided in the coming days regarding ticketing procedures.
