In compliance with the order on April 29th from the Indiana Department of Education, all sports activities are canceled thru June 30th. All Carmel Clay Schools facilities are closed through June 30th as well. This includes outdoor venues.





With the announcement today of the closure of K-12 schools throughout Indiana for the remainder of the school year, the IHSAA announced the cancellation of all spring sports tournament series events for the 2019- 20 school year.

UPDATED March 19

Following today’s directive by Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb that all Indiana schools will be closed until May 1, all athletic practices will continue to be suspended until school is back in session. The earliest practices would resume/start would be May 2. Updates will be provided as necessary.


March 13

Beginning after school on Friday, March 13th, all spring sport after-school practices and contests will be suspended until Carmel Clay Schools is back in session. When we resume classes, 10 practices will need to have been held for spring sports teams prior to the first contest for your season. The 10 practices are in accordance with the IHSAA by-laws. For lacrosse and track teams, the scenario will be different since they have already completed 10 practices. More information on the specifics of this unprecedented situation will be released as warranted.
